At 0845 today, Fire Control received a 999 call to a kitchen fire in a café. Appliances from Falmouth and Truro, supported by an Officer were mobilised and on arrival confirmed smoke was issuing from the building. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the flames and conducted a fire investigation concluding the cause to be accidental.

Police were also in attendance and assisted with traffic managment on the one way system.
