Fire Control received a 999 call at 09:20 today reporting a bonfire that was out of control and spreading towards some outbuildings. Three appliances were mobilised from St Austell, Bodmin and a Water Carrier from Liskeard. On arrival the crews confirmed four outbuildings were "well alight" and used breathing apparatus, hose reels to extinguish the fire. A fire investigation was completed before leaving the incident and the cause was confirmed as accidental.
