One fire appliance from St Dennis was mobilised following a report that smoke was entering a factory on the Victoria Business Park, Roche. It was believed that the smoke was from a fire somewhere between Roche and Bugle.
Following an extensive search the crew found about 16 bales of hay alight. Beaters were used to extinguish the fire.
Arson is suspected and the police will now be dealing.
