Delabole Slate Quarry at 04/05/2025 18:35
Three appliances and 2L4P's from Delabole, Wadebridge, Bude and Bodmin were mobilised to this incident. It involved 300m by 300m of high gorse and trees the fire was located on vertical banks with little or no access.
Crews used beaters, knapsack sprayers, hosereel jets and main jets to extigunish the fire.
The fire is believed to be arson suspected and Police have been informed.
There are no further details for this incident.
