Lorry Caught On Electric Cable

Two crew from Liskeard attended a call to an incident where an lorry had caught its tailgate on a high voltage electrical cable and the vehicle was smoking. Firefighters cordoned off the area and National Grid engineers were requested to attend. Firefighters extinguished a fire that had started in the lorry. Crews used one hose reel jet, one ground monitor and breathing apparatus at this incident.
