Fire Control took a 999 call at 14:05 informing them of a car fire near Porthluney Beach, Caerhays.

A crew from St Mawes fire station was immediately mobilised. Once on scene, the crew confirmed the car was well alight and, wearing breathing apparatus, extinguished the fire.

The fire is now confirmed out.
