Precautions When Having Bonfires

Because of the recent dry weather, the Brigade has attended several calls over the last few days to bonfires that have gone out of control and spread to nearby flammable materials. Members of the public are asked to make precautions in the event of the bonfire getting out of control, having buckets of water or a garden hose close by.
