Diesel Spillage From Locomotive

One crew from Truro was mobilised to a spillage of diesel from a locomotive carrying about 350 gallons. Coincidentally there was an electrical fault in the vicinity of the station and railway staff were concerned. Passengers were moved to the rear of the train as a precaution. A railway engineer attended to deal with the locomotive and electrical engineers dealt with the electrical fault. The brigade stood by until they declared the scene was safe. The passengers were left in the care of railway staff.
