Fire In Domestic Garage

At 03:03 the brigade received a call reporting a large explosion and lots of smoke seen in Elm Tree Road, Looe. Two appliances from Looe attended and found one domestic garage on fire. Using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel the crew extinguished the fire and confined it to the garage. The fire is thought to have been started deliberately and details have been passed to Devon and Cornwall Police who are investigating the matter.
