Hedge Fire

An appliance from Tolvaddon Fire Station responded to a 999 call reporting a fire seen in the distance near to Penhalvean.
On arrival the crew located approx. 50m of hedgerow and trees on fire. Using one hose reel jet they extinguished the fire.
The cause is believed to be accidental, by a spark from a steam engine which passed through the area.
