One appliance from St Mary's attended this incident.
On arrival a grass fire measuring 10 x 5 metres was discovered. Further assistance from St Martin's was requested after the fire spread to 20 x 10 metres.
The fire was brought under control by 15:45 using breathing apparatus, various jets and a wetting agent.
