Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were busy last night and the early hours of this morning dealing with incidents after Flash Flooding affected the South Coast and the Isles of Scilly. We attended multiple calls for flooding in premises, evacuated families from homes, rescued persons in vehicles affected by rapidly rising water and a landslide in Looe. The first call was received just before 9pm and the last call left at 0400hrs when the rain moved away from Cornwall and the water levels started to subside.
