Fire In Derelict Property

On receipt of this incident Fire Control mobilised an appliance from Helston Fire Station.
On arrival the crews found a derelict property to be well alight and requested two further appliances to asist from Mullion and Tolvaddon, a Flexi Duty Officer and the Water Carrier were also mobilised.
The property consisted of two storey detached derelict house measuring 18m by 8m. The crews used six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one safety jet to extinguish the fire.
The crews confirmed the cause to be deliberate and spread.
The Police were also requested to attend.
The crews have now left the scene and there are no further details for this incident.
