Two appliances from Falmouth were mobilised to reports of a garage. A number of repeat calls were received to the garage fire, the building was well alight and on arrival crews made up for a third appliance. An appliance from Truro was sent onto the incident. The fire involved a domestic garage measuring 6 x 4 metres which was attached to a bungalow. Crews initially used 4 breathing apparatus, a covering jet and a safety jet. At 17:49 crews confirmed a second garage had become involved in the fire and an additional three hose reel jets and a third safety jet was in use. The fire was confirmed out at 18:13, crews remained on scene for a time monitoring hot spots and damping down.
