Person Rescued From Mud

Fire crews from St Keverne and Mullion community fire stations attended a report of a person that had fallen and was stuck in mud on the shore of the tidal Helford River. The firefighters assisted ambulance crews, who were already on scene, using a scoop stretcher to carry the casualty to safety by 1920hrs. The casualty, whose condition is not known by the fire service, was left in care of the ambulance crews.
