Oxland Road, Illogan at 18/12/2025 14:00
Two fire appliances from Tolvaddon and one fire appliance from Hayle attended a fire involving a kitchen.
Firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, used a hosereel and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire in the smoke-filled house by 1450hrs. National Grid attended to isolate the electricity supply.
The cause of the fire is accidental.
Firefighters remained for another 90 minutes assisting the occupants.
