Fire crews from Saltash Community Fire Station and Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service's Camels Head Fire Station, responded to a report of a fire alarm actuating in a cottage and smoke inside.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished a small fire involving a candle.
