Shed Fire – One Person Rescued

At 23:15, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a shed fire.
On arrival, crews were informed that a person was believed to be inside. Firefighters immediately carried out a search and successfully rescued one person from the shed.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to tackle and extinguish the fire.
Police and Ambulance Services also attended the scene.
The rescued person was handed into the care of the Ambulance Service.
