One appliance from Callington and the rescue tender from Bodmin attended an incident in Rilla Mill, after Westcountry Ambulance requested our assistance. A lady had fallen in her garden and broken her leg the only way she could be extricated to attend hospital was on a stretcher lowered down a bank of approximately 20 feet. The crews were able to acheive this using a hydraulic arm, ladders and rescue lines. The lady was then transported to hospital in a land ambulance.
