Fire In a Derelict Building

One appliance from Lostwithiel attended a report of smoke seen from some distance. On arrival the crew found a single storey building of approximately 25 metres by 10 metres well alight. A further crew from St Austell and the water carrier from Bodmin were requested to assist. The fire was extinguished using monitor jets and believed to have been started deliberately, Devon and Cornwall Police have been infomed and are investigating the matter.
