At 2044 last night the Brigade were called to a large gorse fire. 3 fire crews attended from Mullion, St Keverne and Helston. Beaters were extinguished to put the fire out, but due to strong winds and the dry weather, crews were called again to the same area at 0135. The fire was extinguished again using beaters. The cause of the original fire was thought to be arson. There is no further information on this incident
