One appliance from Liskeard and the rescue tender from Bodmin were called, by a farmer, to rescue a heifer which had fallen into a steep ditch. On arrival the crews found the heifer to be approximately 8 feet down a steep river bank. Using the special rescue arm on the rescue tender the crews were able to bring the cow up the side of the bank to safety. There was a vet on scene to ensure the animal was well.
