On receipt of this call, appliances from Liskeard and Callington also the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised. On arrival the crews found a horse in a swimming pool that was unable to get out. Brigade personnel pumped the water from the pool using light portable pumps, then proceeded to successfully rescue the horse using lines and bales of straw as makeshift steps.
