Tolgus Hill Area, Redruth at 14/10/2006 16:50
On several calls received for this incident, appliances from Redruth and Camborne attended. The incident, at the Old Redruth Brewery, involved a single storey building measuring approximately 25 x 5 metres, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a jet to extinguish the fire, crews also used the positive pressure ventilation fan at the incident. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and will be making further enquiries.
