Firefighters from Falmouth were called to a kitchen fire. Fortunately the owner had a working smoke alarm and a neighbour was alerted to the fire. They immediately dialled 999 and the firefighters were able to break access into the property and rescue the owner. The fire was extinguished using a hose reel.
