Chimney Fire

Firefighters from the Isles of Scilly Fire Brigade's Tresco Fire Station were quickly in attendance following a report of flames coming from a chimney. The crew inspected and found that the fire was already out.
NB 999 Fire Calls for the Isles of Scilly are handled by fire control operators in Cornwall Fire Brigade's Fire Control at Truro, who have the necessary equipment to mobilise the firefighters of the Isles of Scilly Fire Brigade. Thirty such calls have been handled since April.
