Appliances from St. Just and Penzance attended this incident. On arrival they found another fire in the vicinity. The main incident involved in excess of 60 hectares of gorse. Fire personnel used beaters to extinguish the fire, some of which may be suspected arson. Officer in charge of the incident was Station Officer Aitken. Crews left the scene at 1640hrs.
