Two fire appliances from Falmouth were quickly in attendance and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property to find that a fire involving curtains was already out. The smoke was then cleared.

Oxygen was given to an occupant suffering smoke inhalation and they were treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.
