Two fire appliances from Launceston attended a report of a fire alarm actuating at a factory. On arrival they found that there had been a fire in a machine, which had been extinguished by staff. It was not known if the fire had spread to extraction ducting so firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check. It was confirmed that the fire had not spread.
