Near Pennygillam Roundabout, Launceston at 02/02/2007 21:35

At 21:35 hours a report was received of a barn fire, two appliances from Launceston were mobilised, on arrival the crews found a range of buildings including the barn and its contents alight, two jets, two hosereels also Brigade personnel wore breathing apparatus at the scene. After the fire was extinguished the crews began removing the contents of the barn with the aid of a mechanical grab. Crews were delayed for a considerable time.
Arson is suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police are in attendance.
