Hay Bales

Crews from Falmouth attended three hay bales on fire in some woods in Penryn. Access to the bales was difficult and initially the fire fighters had to relay buckets of water and use pitch forks to control the deep seated fire in the bales. The crews finally used a water jet to extinguish the fire.
