Gorse Fire Resulting From 'controlled Burning'

We were called to this fire on request from the farmer when a spark caused the fire to get out of hand - appliances from Newquay, Perranporth and St. Columb attended OiC ADO Roach - pumps 4 were made at 1552. Large area of gorse well alight 1jet hr and beaters. The area contains a fireworks bunker store the area surrounding was damped down and made safe but due to the change in wind direction the crews have been withdrawn to safety.
