Gorse Fire
Bochym, near Mullion, Lizard Peninsula at 31/03/2007 23:22
Firefighters from Mullion, St Keverne and Helston used beaters to extinguish a gorse fire. Three pumping appliances and two off-road fire appliances attended. The fire which covered an area of 20 hectares took an hour to bring under control.
Arson is suspected and the police are now dealing.
