Straw Bales Alight

Two fire appliances from Lostwithiel and the water carrier from Bodmin attended nine large bales of straw that were alight. The fire had spread to a trailer. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels to deal with the fire, which was under control by 1745hrs. Crews then remained on scene for about one hour damping down.
