Crews from Penzance, Helston, Mullion, Camborne, Truro, Newquay and Perranporth attended a large gorse fire at Godolphin Hill. The fire involved 5 hectares of gorse with the fire on two fronts. Crews used a natural fire break to restrict one of the fire fronts. Crews' also focused on protecting properties at risk from fire damage. At 20:00 crews' from Mullion and Perranporth remain on scene, and are damping down hotspots.
