On reports of this incident, appliances from St. Dennis & St. Columb also the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be two vehicles involved and one was well alight, crews extinguished the fire, the crew then proceeded to use crash rescue equipment to release a casualty who was transferred by air ambulance to hospital. Unfortunately there was one person pronounced deceased at the scene. The Brigade have no further details of this incident. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
