Two appliances from St Austell and one appliance from Fowey are in attendance at at barn fire at the present time. This is a detached building measuring approximately 10 metres by 10 metres. All livestock have been released unharmed, the building is well alight. The crews are wearing two breathing apparatus and using two hosereels and one jet to extinguish the fire. Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed of the incident as early indications suspect arson to be the cause of the fire.
