Both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival crews found smoke issuing from a ground floor flat, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire, the positive pressure fan was used to remove smoke from the premises, the flat above the fire was also smoke logged. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
