On receipt of this call, both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, on arrival firefighters wearing breathing apparatus made a forced entry to a smokelogged third floor flat and rescued two adults and two children, who were then cared for by West Country Ambulance personnel, firefighters used a hosereel to extinguish the fire, which was believed to have been caused by a tumble drier. There is no further information available on this incident
