Crews from Bodmin, Lostwithel and Wadebridge attended a house fire in a mid terrace property. The fire was on the first floor and after searching the building all persons were accounted for. Crews then went on to rescue a number of pets located in the property. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hosereel and one jet fed by a hydrant. Western Power engineers attended to disconnect the external electricity supplies. Once the fire had been extinguished crews ventilated the property and neighbouring properties to limit smoke damage. A full fire investigation is now being carried out by both the Fire Brigade and Police services. More information will be posted as and when it becomes avaliable.
