Mount Wise, Newquay at 02/05/2007 19:19
On receipt of several calls for this incident at the old Ambassador Hotel, appliances from Newquay and St. Columb and the aerial ladder platform from Newquay were mobilised. The crews found a fire involving the exterior of the building, measuring 7 x 10 metres, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel and jet at the scene to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
