Rescue of a Tawny Owl

At 10:23 this morning the Brigade were called by the RSPCA to assist in rescuing a tawny owl. This was a fledgling which had got out of its nest but was unable to fly and had got itself wedged in the ivy covering the tree. One crew from Helston attended and using a long ladder and rope rescue equipment managed to bring the owl to safety and hand it over to the RSPCA inspector.
There are no further details regarding this incident, further updates will be posted as and when incidents occur.
