Crews from Lostwithiel and Fowey were mobilised to this incident, when crews arrived on scene and entered the property they found that a mattress had been on fire, but was fortunately extinguished, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building to ensure that the premises were safe. One person was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel for the effects of smoke inhilation.
