Two appliances from St Austell are in attendance and using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hosereel to extinguish the fire. One casualty is being dealt with by the ambulance.Update at 1807 fire confined to cooker fire in kitchen 1 casualty suffering burns & smoke inhalation given oxygen & first aid by fire crews until arrival of ambulance.
Occupier was woken from sleep by smoke detectors in the property
