Newmill to Gurnards Head at 05/04/2003 22:48
Appliances from Penzance & St. Just attended this incident. On arrival firefighters found 200 metres of high gorse well alight. This incident lasted a considerable time, and the total area involved eventually amounted to approximately 7 hectares of of gorse. The fire was eventually extinguished using hosereels and beaters.
