Lower Quay, Porth Navas at 13/06/2007 22:03

Crews from Falmouth and the rescue tender from Camborne attended and rescued a casualty stuck in the mud up to his waist, approx 20 metres from shore. Two firefighters wearing dry suits lifted the male casualty onto a rescue path using a mudraft, with the assistance of the coastguard. After being hauled to shore the male was checked by the ambulance who confirmed he was uninjured.
