Appliances from Penzance and St. Just were mobilised on receipt of this call, on arrival firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered a flat and extinguished the fire using a hosereel, crews then proceeded to ventilate the premises using the positive pressure fan. An ambulance was requested for a casualty suffering the effects of smoke inhilation.
