Firefighters from Falmouth were mobilised following a report of a microwave oven fire in a property with people unable to escape and being affected by the smoke. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire. One adult and one child were led to safety by the crews and left in care of ambulance personnel. We have no information available as to the condition of these occupants.
