Crews from Mullion, Helston and Camborne attended a cliff rescue this afternoon at Poldhu Cove. The initial call came from the Coastguard. The incident involved a single vehicle which had gone over a cliff edge. Along with two Ambulance Paramedics, Fire crews were winched down to the incident by an Air Sea Rescue helicopter. One person was trapped in the vehicle and Brigade crews used Crash Rescue Equipment to release the casualty from the car. Once released the casualty was taken to hospital by air.
