Crews from Truro and Falmouth were called to a property whose fire alarms were sounding with smoke coming from its windows. Upon arrival the crews reported a strong smell of burning and entered the flat using two breathing apparatus and one hosereel. Crews rescued one casualty from the flat. Crews administered oxygen to the casualty until Ambulance services arrived. The casualty had fallen asleep whilst cooking. Crews ventilated the property.
Assistant Divisional Officer Brown was incharge of the incident.
